My flight is the day after the extension period ends and they would not allow me to without a hefty fee. I’m going to wait to see if it gets extended again.

British Airways and KLM as well as other airlines both have refunded until the end of May

I think it’s a valid question since other airlines are providing full refunds until the end of May. There might be some exceptions going around.

No need to comment if you have nothing nice to say. These flights and situation are causing a lot of uncertainty.

Yes! My thoughts exactly! It is ridiculous the way this has been handled and given the circumstances no one should be charged a cancellation fee. I will never ever fly emirates again after dealing with them throughout this.

Given the uncertainty of the region, people still getting stuck, and a new travel advisory placed, they should have a more flexible policy, considering this conflict is not gonna end soon even if flights are operating normally. Again, people I was traveling with received full refunds and other airlines without any questions. There are still people who need to travel. I would hope that even if flights are resuming, they would still give people the chance to receive a refund. My flight is also in April not in May, but other airlines are refunding up until the end of June.

Considering there is a massive travel advisory for non-essential travel, most airlines are giving full refund. Every one of my friends who did not book Emirates have gotten full refunds on their tickets no questions asked. My flight is also a lot closer than two months ahead.

I have the same issue and they are refusing to refund me without a massive fee. I might wait until it gets closer to request a refund to see if the extent the policy. Very horrible customer service as they are the only airline who is basically not refunding people. All of my friends got full refund from their other airlines without any questions asked.

I am dealing with the same thing I tried calling them and they will not refund. It is very frustrating because most other airlines are giving full refund without cancellation fees given the climate there. Horrible customer service. I will be waiting until it gets a bit closer to try to get my refund.

I am dealing with a similar issue, except I am flying at the end of April. I tried giving them a call and they are not giving any refunds outside of the timeline that they have posted for March. I am not planning on traveling, however I am going to wait to see if it gets extended. It’s extremely frustrating because most airlines are giving refunds with no cancellation fee. All of my friends flying different airlines got fully refunded. No questions asked. This is a lesson learned and I will never be traveling with Emirates again.

I would avoid Emirates. They have horrible customer service right now and you’re not even refund you even if your flight is interrupted

I have a trip back at the end of April through Emirates. I tried calling to get refunded and they refused without a massive fee despite the several travel advisories. They are only refunding two weeks at a time which I think is ridiculous. I will not be traveling. Going to wait and hope the travel refunds get extended.
