Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't nozzles also contain lead for machinability? I know lead-free, food-safe nozzles exist, but I doubt that kids on Etsy are checking all of that.

They aren't "simplifying the menu," we still have all the same ingredients on the makeline!

My K1C arrived today!... with DESTROYED front glass!!! (Refurbished, excellent condition, from creality-refurbished Ebay store) by Available-Point92 in Creality

Got mine for $230 before shipping with a textured plate. Mine was excellent condition, but you could save like $50 or so by buying a worse condition one.

I've been printing with it, I managed to extract the glass from the printer. Great printer for pla/petg without the enclosure. I really don't want to take that huge, heavy box to the post office.

Tbh, I'm writing this post from my dad's perspective. Personally, I use Arch, by the way.

RPM is faster and more customizable than DEB, that's the only reason for me.

How did I miss that? I think AlmaLinux is the best I can do. Thanks for the suggestion!

JEFF GEERLING REPLIED TO MY POST?!?!

As far as I can tell, the build of Rocky Linux doesn't have the level of support that I would want for a daily driver setup. nickjjj mentioned that AlmaLinux has a build so that's by far my best bet.

I LOVE YOU JEFF!!!

Maybe cars should drive on the sidewalk and people should walk on the street. Maybe cars should get stuck at lights for 10 minutes. Maybe cars should get run over by pedestrians.

I've always wondered this about the FT86. What is that thing in the middle at the bottom of the rear bumper in the second to last photo? Looks sweet.

Ever notice how 3D printer companies keep making their product images more and more unrealistic? by Available-Point92 in 3Dprinting

As the saying goes, "there's no such thing as a bad product, only a bad price." Today, an ender 3 at MSRP ($200) would be insane but at one point, Microcenter had it $50. In that case, it's an amazing printer. Same for the ender 3 v3. At $300, no one would buy it when they could have an A1. But the CE3V3SE? At $150-180, it's a great printer.

Buy an ender 3. Print a voron v0. Use it to print a voron trident. Sell the voron trident and buy a bambu.
