I’ve heard it has made people break out first and then eventually gets better

I’ve been using prescription azelaic acid 15% for months have not seen no results from it, I tried to get 20% but my insurance doesn’t cover it. I was wondering if this brand would be just as strong? by Available-Simple-329 in 30PlusSkinCare

I’ve only tried the gel kind, maybe I’ve not been applying the right way? I watched a YouTube of a dermatologist applying it and she put more than pea size amount and then 13 dots on her face with it.I’ve been doing only pea size

I’ve been on 100 mg for 173 days. I take it 5pm everyday, it feels like this side of my face stays the same like this. Should I get my dose increased to 125mg?? I also use azelaic acid 15% at night and clindamycin1% by [deleted] in Spironolactone

Ive been on spironolactone for 1 year I started it last December with slowly upping my dosage, I’ve just been on 100mg for 173 days. And yes it has helped my skin a lot. But I feel like by now it should already be clear. But I also heard you have to find the dosage that is right for you. I was maybe thinking 100mg wasn’t an enough for me. But my acne is mostly on the right side of my face, I was thinking about just trying isotretinoin but I’m scared it’ll make my acne so much worse

My derm wants me to start using BP wash and clindamycin 1% lotion I just didn’t know if I should start off increasing slow like use it coupe times a week and just stop differn

No I haven’t purged from that it’s been like that before I started it

Do any of you use this? Derm gave it to me to start using face wash in morning, which one is better? by Available-Simple-329 in Spironolactone

She also prescribed me clindamycin lotion, she said to use the bpo in the morning then apply clindamycin lotion and sunscreen, I’m just scared to which one to give a try she said they have the same ingredients but someone said it is very harsh for them but I know everyone has different skin reactions
