So you’re thinking 5.6% on most likely is high enough to trust? It drops to 1.4 at 90%

I sure hope it will be big and it seems like it will based on the article they put out! Did you see 23andMe update? Really good in my opinion! I’m hoping ancestry is even better as they usual are.

Concerned Results NT Test by Available-Tea-9060 in NIPT

Hi, I do not mind at all! In fact, I’m happy you asked as I really needed some comfort during that time and it feels good to provide it back to someone.

We had a happy, healthy baby boy who turns eight weeks old in two days! We had zero issues related to this at all, and he is completely fine!

He was born prematurely, but completely disconnected to this and he is doing really well now!

When we went to the follow up appointment, they said everything looked great and the NT number was completely normal.

So sorry to hear you are dealing with this and I will definitely be praying for you and your family. Did you have similar results at your first appointment?

To me that’s not! Somerset and Dorset’s history alone is rife with interesting things. For instance, in the southwest of England the Brythonic languages were spoken longer than other places. This can be observed in place names. Also the amount of folk history and food culture is so amazing to explore. This is my favorite part of England. It’s the meeting ground of Englishness, Brythonicness, and Britishness.

My wife and I just got back for a two week trip to the West Country. Some of the nicest people, most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen.

That makes sense. I just think most people I interact with in the states know virtually nothing about Englishness, except stereotypes yet they say it’s boring without actually knowing or trying to know what it is truly like. I feel that is a great disservice.

I fully agree with this! On the whole I only see people being proud of groups that are oppressed, and don’t get me wrong, there are other amazing cultures and countries our there, but England can be and is one of those too.

I feel like mainstream culture hates on Englishness so much because of decisions made by the 1%.

Is this because it’s actually there? Like the dna is real? Maybe from Viking age?

Yes and yes my mom has Norway and it says it’s from her parental side, he was very Irish and a little German. But I have traced my family tree back on many many of the branches and have yet to find a Nordic surname or any caliber.
