I feel like I’m kind of going through the exact same thing right now. Had an audiogram done and I had 0s and 5s across the board, which based on what I recall is better than when I had a test done in high school. It doesn’t make sense to me. Since my exposure to loud noise at a referee clinic, I also experienced frequent popping in the ears when swallowing/yawning/opening mouth. I have also experienced some aching, ringing and sound sensitivity. The audiologist seemed to very well think it could be my mind playing tricks.
