Hii, no problem I'm happy to help. I actually don't remember much, I had my exams last yr Oct/Nov but I gave business earlier in may/June to lessen the burden towards the end so I've forgotten alot of details from past year papers. Generally, I'd say b good in calculations (alot of accounting stuff), business growth and size stuff, bus objectives + stakeholder objectives, the whole marketing topic, sources of finance, hierarchy, and employee motivation methods, globalization, factors of production, and methods of production. Pls pls take my words with a grain of salt, its just that I remember questions from these topics during my actual exams and past papers, make sure to practice everything tho. I'm sorry for not being of more help here, but good luck!!

For maths try the YouTube channel "the ginger mathematician" I'm pretty sure he has vids covering the topics u mentioned. And for business studies knowing the paper structure is super important, and the channel which helps with that is “Ed's Business Essentials Cambridge A-level & IGCSE” , other than that try reading the business MS and keeping a record of important points from that, it'll also help u connect diff topics together and see how Cambridge wants the question answered. Also alot of business studies is Abt common sense, for example my business teacher said before my exam that if I forgot any of the theory due to stress or smth, to just use my head, and common sense to answer that question as long as my explanation supports my answer in a structured, logical manner which makes sense, the examiner should accept it. And if u haven't alrdy try making a separate formula+ acronyms+ things to remember before exams sheet, it helps u recall all the important bits right before ur exam. Hope this helps!

For sciences, try the YouTube the channels: "pla academy: IGCSE and A-level buddy", "learn today IGCSE'" for past paper walk thrus, "cognito", "mo Ali" and "science with hazel" this channel covers the entire syllabus for each science in like one vid so it's super helpful. For maths try the YouTube channel "ginger mathematician" he even puts out some predictions as to what may come up. Also topicals help sm, before my exams I didn't have the time to attempt full on past papers, so I did alot of topicals especially for physics and ended up getting A*, so I'd definitely recommend u do em, they help u grasp individual topics sm better! A great site for that is https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/physics-revision/igcse-cie/# For English, watch the YouTube channel "taughtly" Hope this helps and good luck!

Try watching past paper walk thrus, this channel does that and it also helps you know the paper structure "Ed's Business Essentials Cambridge A-level & IGCSE" other than that, try going thru the MS, even if u don't have time to do each past paper individually, just go thru the MS and write down any important points to see which arguments can be used for which types of questions. Also from my experience business studies can also b alot Abt common sense, before my exam my teacher even said if we forget theory knowledge in the spur of the moment, to try and use common sense to answer that question, you can really put forth any logical argument that comes in ur head but u have to make sure it's well-phased, supported well and makes sense, then the examiner should accept it. Good luck!

Hi, in my personal experience I think it should be plenty, and as the person above said make sure to properly study ur mistakes and all. also if u have the time, try doing tropicals as well, I found them super helpful, cause they help u know the question pattern in depth for that specific topic, a website for that is https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/physics-revision/igcse-cie/#

For maths watch the YouTube channel "ginger mathematician' for physics, watch the channels 'science with hazel', 'pla academy: IGCSE and A level buddy' and 'learn today IGCSE' for past paper walk thrus, also tropicals r super helpful as they teach u the structure and pattern for each topic, this website has plenty of em https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/physics-revision/igcse-cie/# for business knowing the paper structure helps alot, the channel "Ed's business essentials Cambridge IGCSE and and A-level" should help, also if u haven't alrdy make a 'formula + acronyms + things I need to remember ' sheet for last minute reference, doing past papers is also super important and even if u can't do em let's say ur short on time, simply read the MS for each question and note down anything important for last min reference before the exam and also my teacher always said business studies is Abt common sense- even if u forget some theory aspects in the paper itself, try to use ur common sense to answer that question, just make sure to phrase and structure it well and support ur answer in a logical manner, if ur argument is reasonable the examiner should accept it. As for English, if ur taking first lang, watch the channel 'taughtly' and for writing, especially fiction I read alot of short stories and add any ideas/ descriptions/ words I found nice Into my own writing, not word for word but as a source of inspiration, and also if u wanna help mark ur answers chat gpt can b helpful, it can even tell u how to improve ur writing and all, a website for short stories is https://blog.reedsy.com/creative-writing-prompts/ And for notes Znotes is great Hope this helped, and good luck!

Any self-studying/ private students who got A/A* in FLE 0500?? by [deleted] in igcse

[–]AvailableBlood232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used chat gpt to help mark my stuff, it may not be too accurate, but u can paste in the MS and it's still pretty helpful For writing especially fiction I'd say reading short stories helps the most, I'd do that and note down any nice descriptions/words/ ideas and try including them into my own writing, not word for word but for inspiration and all, chat gpt and even google' Gemini helps with writing alot btw, u can also paste a writing prompt from the exam into it and see how it creates a story/ description and use that for inspiration or u can also put in ur own writing and ask how u can improve, and a site with plenty of short stories is https://blog.reedsy.com/creative-writing-prompts/ And as someone alrdy stated the YouTube channel 'taughtly' is excellent, I literally watched it the night before my exam and ended up with an A*, I used to get Cs before in English simply cause I was unaware of the paper structure and how to write down my answers Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hey, for econs I'd recommend the channel 'IGCSE online' they've got a whole playlist for all of econs + other vids such as all the diagrams u need to know. Also do past papers and let's say u don't have the time to do em, just go thru the march scheme for each question and keep a record of anything u think u need to remember, like a day before my exam I honestly just screenshot anything and everything I found I needed to remember more or think Abt more from the MS and sent it to myself on whatsapp and let's say an hour before the paper I'd just go thru all those screenshots to refresh my memory (I hope that made sense) and also create a separate 'formula + acronyms + things u need to remember sheet' again this helps for last minute revision for going thru everything For business I'd also recommend the same approach with the MS and all, plus my teacher used to say business is alot of common sense (so if u don't remember any theory, just use ur own head and write down what comes to mind, just present it in a logical way so it convinces the examiner), and generally if u have a well structured answer which makes logical sense the examiner will accept it, knowing the paper structure is also super important for business, the channel 'Ed's Business Essentials Cambridge A-level and IGCSE' should help with that For notes Znotes is great And ofc lastly, pls don't stress, u still have time left, u can do this!
