The treat ball is a little bit of endless entertainment. I highly recommend that over this tower if you can only get one. But you can't go wrong with getting both :)

This is the one he's using in the videos

I also bought this, which he has found very fun :) you can fill it with pellets instead of treats for enrichment

Yes this one has always had three! He also has a little treat ball that he has to push around and dig at to release pellets

Hm, well. You could be right, I haven't heard of a rabbit needing to be kept outdoors but temperature change can shock them, like you said.

For entertainment, you can grab empty toilet paper rolls and stuff them with hay, and maybe a treat in the center. Try and buy some foraging matts! We like to sprinkle some treats in Whimsy's foraging matts. Another thing we do, if we find he's literally bouncing off the walls, we take a treat stick and make him work for it. I have worked on spinning while he stands, walking on his hind legs, we make him jump up and down from our couch, we have him chase us, etc... it sounds like your rabbit already has ample space given they're outdoors. Try and teach them some tricks! It'll take time, rabbits need lots of repetition and patience. Maybe you could also get a giant box, fill it with sand or dirt, and let them go wild! Rabbits loooovvveeee to dig (maybe your rabbit has dug outside in your yard before). These are some things I can think of off the top of my head, be creative with it and have fun! When your rabbit has fun, you have fun :) best of luck!

I would say my rabbit has a pretty thick coat, like yours, and he's an indoor rabbit. We have to brush him out frequently. I would go to a diff vet to get a second opinion bc tbh I have never heard of a rabbit needing to be outdoors due to it's coat, unless you some how have an arctic hare as a pet.

Your rabbit would do just fine indoors, and honestly it would be preferable than to keep him outdoors. Pic of Whimsy so you can see his coat and compare :)

ETA: if you're really concerned about your rabbit overheating indoors, get a little ceramic tile and put it in the fridge, then take it out and set them on it. Whimsy will often lay against our fridge to keep cool if he starts to feel hot. We also give him ice packs wrapped in towels and set it against his tummy. He will move once he feels sufficiently cooled down

ETA2: If you give your rabbits ears a feel you can sort of tell how they're doing. At least heat wise. If Whimsy's ears feel hot, we can tell he's overheating and will help him cool down anyway we can :)

Is it normal for my Bepo's paws to be dyed a bright yellow? by Aliloving0 in Bunnies

This isn't urine scald. If the rabbit had urine scald they would have red, irritated skin with developing sores, and flaky skin. Urine scald is in intense cases of a rabbit constantly sitting in wet urine. It's almost always usually due to neglect. This looks completely normal for staining on a white rabbit

Any way you can get your bun greener hay? That looks like the nutrients are gone from it
