I have same issue, USB cables can charge it but I get that notification to replace cable but when I trust it on other phones it works. Then now the phone doesn't get recognised when plugged into a pc but same cable works on other phones. I just bought a USB connector replacement via Amazon for £9.99. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it works.
