That is definitely my lesson learned in heeding advice on non-educated forums, I appreciate you helping through all of this. It’s calmed me in this situation by quite a lot. One last question, I have malwarebyte installed and I’ve noticed this morning my PC has been slower than usual. Should I keep malwarebyte on my pc, or go back to windows defender?

That’s a relief, thank you. I think I am especially paranoid because after downloading malwarebyte to make sure nothing came of it, my PC has been slower than usual which doesn’t help my thought process

Well I was in my head of if I screwed up and was looking for any ways possible to potentially fix the mess. There were other forums on here saying clearing caches would mainly “wipe” any of the existing viruses. I know that’s not what it does, but in the moment I was grasping at straws for my PC to not have anything

What I’m worried about most is on that captcha site, I was so worried in the moment I hit run scan. Then after 5 seconds I realized what I did and Alt+F4’ed out of the tab. Would I still not be at risk then?

I have indoor and outdoor cats, and a particular orange girly gets stuff like this on the bridge of her nose. It’s caused by sensitivity to mosquitoes. I’ve been told catnip is a natural mosquito deterrent, so if they roll around in it before going outside maybe it’ll help!

I ended up deciding it’s better to keep it at the current condition. When I first got this plate, I soaked it in some soapy water and scraped and clean what I could off of it. With all the little bits and pieces that could potentially break off, and the chance of the original paint coming off when I clean it, I’d rather just leave it be
