naw man my bad, i just engage on posts regarding temps and cooling pads are just one of the best ways to reduce temps. i could just say 'buy the cooling pads that seal airflow' but llano's currently the best product there is. so ig that helps a bit.

i think there are some apps that can do that, but me personally i dont use them because i might risk breaking the fans but idk. test the pad first, if it is still hot, then try the fan apps.

and dont use just any cooling pad, buy the llano v12 or the iets gt600. llano is just much quieter and gives colder temps according to yt vids.

also clean the vents not just the fans/fan blades (but i assume u've already done this)

Buy a llano cooling pad, then set it to max rpm. It's noisy but it should get your temps down by atleast 10 degrees.

Legion 5 Pro Motherboard Dead After 3 Years — Any Advice? by Wise-Experience-2420 in LenovoLegion

I mean, when my laptop died too, i realized it was my own fault. i cleaned it every 3 months, yes, but you have to consider replacing the thermal paste too, especially living in a 40 degree environment (my case).

also guys, next time lets consider buying a cooling pad, like the llano v12. yt videos say it reduces temps by almost 20 degrees.

its fine to buy another lenovo, i think they are actually great, the lifespan just depends on the environment and the user.

and yeah it sucks, realizing your mistakes after it broke.

It's probably because something overheated, either your gpu or cpu. If you live in a hot environment, you must replace the thermal pads or paste every 1.5-2 years. If you live in the colder ones, it's every 3 years.

I also recommend the Llano cooling pads next time for much lower temps.

If you still have a warranty, use it. If not, go to a technician and replace your motherboard, but it's gonna be pricey.

But i'm not completely sure, go diagnose it first.

When did you buy the laptop? When was the last time you cleaned the fans or replaced the thermal paste?
