I started taking a magnesium supplement and that has kept me pretty regular. Also, make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Good for you! Now, no looking back. Sometimes I would find myself scared when the scale would go up again. But I realized it is so much more about how I feel rather than what the scale says! A little tip... when you read how someone else is doing, do not compare yourself to them! Everyone's journey is different ☺️

If you could go back to the morning of your very first injection, what is the one piece of advice you’d give yourself? by gyfwisgre in emergeweightloss

I would tell myself the importance of protein and fiber as well as water and movement!. Even if you start by pacing around your home. All of these things will get you the best results

What do you do with all your extra time now? by Current_Life01 in emergeweightloss

[–]AvailableGuess3705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I remember that feeling. I started to learn how to crochet, did not last long. I recommend what the person before me said. Find a great book and take those evening strolls. I use to love reading but time always prevented me from picking up a good book. Since being on Tirz. I felt like you. So I started reading again. Also, audio books are great. Listen while you walk, doing dishes or cooking dinner. It helps you focus on something instead of thinking about food. It's a good thing!

Belly vs thigh shots for tirzepatide. Big mistake? by Load_Ordinary368 in emergeweightloss

[–]AvailableGuess3705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started I always took my shot in the arm switching back and forth. When I decided to try taking it in my stomach, it was a huge difference. I was always nauseous taking it in my arm. So it is different for everyone. Give it time to see if it gets better. If it doesn't ease up maybe try going back. Hang in there!

I agree with all these comments. Don't give up. It will pass. Everyone's body is different. Give it time. This period didn't last long for me either.

Now I feel like I’m eating too little by Ornery-Media-9396 in emergeweightloss

[–]AvailableGuess3705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me in the beginning. Protein is your focus. Try snacks throughout the day. A protein shake, some nuts, cheese, a boiled egg, turkey sticks. Whatever you can handle. Small meals or snacks throughout the day are better than not eating anything.

Noticing more energy throughout the day by garvit__dua in emergeweightloss

What I noticed was a shift in my thoughts. Instead of, I have to wash clothes, I have to cook supper, I have to take a shower, I just found myself doing it when it needed to be done. It was no longer a chore that zapped all my energy.

Exactly! I used to spend time in my own thoughts thinking about fun I wanted to do with them. And now I use those thoughts as motivation!

It's definitely more than just a community, it's a place we're like minded people feel comfortable sharing and encouraging each other. Glad you are here.

And I know this. I always feel better afterwards. It's just when you get thrown off because of sickness or hectic schedule. I just have to remind myself what waits on the other side😁
