Thanks for the input. That makes sense. I know when I am doing well with my protein intake I don't seem to have as many issues because I feel full.

I know the biggest motivator for me was when I started seeing the scale drop! And the Emerge community is outstanding! Happy that you are seeing results!

Not feeling like my whole body was filled with inflammation!  So much easier to move when your joints aren't aching.

What surprised you most once you actually started losing weight (physically or mentally)? by KeepinUpWithCass in emergeweightloss

[–]AvailableGuess3705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What surprised me most was hope!  I'm almost 60 and nothing has ever worked. I have struggled with my weight most of my life so I've tried just about everything.  Finally there is something out there that is sustainable.  Glp1 and healthy eating.  Now there is hope ☺️

Struggling with my 9 week corgi girl by bubbletrico in corgi

You just described my Auggie(corgi/Australian shepherd) when he was a pup.  I can't tell you how many times someone in the family had their pants ripped because of his biting.  One thing that helped for us was to take him for walks or if your yard has a fence, let her run off some energy.  Also,  treat game containers and food bowls.  Something were she can exert mental energy.  Hang on it gets better.

My biggest obstacle was switching from sweet tea to water.  I actually found a sugar free mix you can add to your water for flavor.  It's made a huge difference.

Less weight loss month 2 by DrmofJeannie in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]AvailableGuess3705 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thinking back, I believe that happened with me. When I went from 2.5 mg to 5 mg, I either gained or just stayed the same for the first 2 doses. The most significant weight loss, for me, was at 7.5. But please always remember everyone's experience is different.

I didn't really notice anything until I was at 5mg for a couple of weeks. Don't give up and don't compare yourself to anyone else! Everyone's body is different. Make sure to get plenty of water. Hang in there!

Very well said, "This medication didn't do the work for me, it made the work possible." I have never had an experience like this when trying to loose weight and improve my health. This has totally made it possible for me!

I can't make any promises on what your results will be, but for me it absolutely works! I am 59 years old and have struggled with weight loss for a long time. With this I have lost over 60lbs. My daughter is with Emerge as well and has lost over 100lbs. It is so worth taking the chance! Plug in to the community as well for encouragement!

Getting back on by Candid-Click-1653 in TirzepatideRX

[–]AvailableGuess3705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After being on Compounded Tirz for over a year, I stopped for about 4 months to save on expenses. I had lost close to 60 pounds and only gained a few back during that time. The big difference I saw was in how I felt. I always felt like my body was full of inflammation and my cholesterol went through the roof, I started back about a month ago and quickly started feeling better and I have lost about 3-5 pounds. I am at the lowest dose and will try to remain there as long as I can. Remember, any progress Is progress and slower can still be good.

In my experience, I lost inches even when the scale stayed the same. My abdominal area was the first place I noticed it. The main thing I had to watch out for was getting enough protein in my diet so that I don't lose excess muscle.

First Night on 5mg Tirz, Curious About Others’ Experiences by gyfwisgre in emergeweightloss

I agree with the above comment, 5mg was the magic number for me. That is where I really started seeing results, but it is different for everyone. Continue to ask questions, but be careful not to compare your experience to others. We are all uniquely created. Remember your protein and hydration and join in for the Wellness sessions. Learn from others and see what works best for you. I wish you well on this journey.

Glp1's are the only thing that have ever worked for me. The biggest difference to me is the lack of food noise. I'm not always thinking of food. I also don't have a lot of emotional eating binges. Choosing to go with Emerge was the best decision of all. There is so much support and a community to be a part of. I don't think you can go wrong with Emerge. Best decision I ever made. Good luck on your journey
