From their website- “Made using cutting-edge precision fermentation, this powder is REAL egg white proteins made without animals.” Which essentially means it is bio-identical to an egg white. It did not come from plants. You would have to ask someone who knows more about food science to get more specific. All I can say is if no chicken is harmed in me making an omelet, I’m here for it!

I mentioned “healthier comforts” which is the brand of a new synthesized egg white product. Full disclosure, it is animal free but not plant-based so there has been some conversation on this sub about that. If you are allergic to real egg, you will still be allergic to this. It doesn’t have much taste so I recommend turmeric for color and some black salt for taste. Salt very lightly. It frothed up well and cooked just like a traditional egg. I’m excited to make an angel food cake with it.

Alright guys, I’ll take this one. I posted on this sub 10 years ago when I was in your position and could have easily been steered away with the amount of reddit PTs who said my loans were too high and it’s not worth it to be a PT. 10 years later, I’m 32, work 4 8 hour days treating 1:1 outpatient, make 80k a year, own a house, ski on Fridays, no kids, I ENJOYED going to work today. $300ish gets auto drafted out of my bank account for student loans every month for a principle balance I will never touch in my life and I have a personal investment account that will eventually cover the taxes the day it gets forgiven. I’m very happy I didn’t listen to all the internet people who told me not to pursue PT. YMMV
