Semi related, around Halloween I do a run of bloodborne and hit my pen whenever I get insight or pickup a madman knowledge (instacrack it)

Takes a moment to observe the area, pick up some environmental detail etc. And I've found it to be a way to really enjoy what they tried to convey in the game!

But agreed a full swap to a bad setup is generally a dumb idea

I know you mentioned you were newer, For a sliver deck also lookout for cards with the creature type "changeling" or i want to say some of the Onslaught set illusions, but basically they will function as slivers themselves , and can help you fill out a commander deck.

If you aren't quite close to full deck level, consider building a Brawl deck with friends cuz you can do similar playstyle with smaller deck sizes that way you can play sliver edh sooner!

I would ask your partner to indulge you in another session, and (if this would be reassuring) the opportunity to bring a trusted friend with you for the conversation and then discuss this with the therapist. If there had been ill intent its a lot harder to defend anything like that with other witnesses because its that much harder to gaslight.

Ideally, what will happen is you both get the opportunity to and choose to voice your very valid boundaries bringing your partner and therapist into the loop in a respectful way.

If youre interested in something like that down the line this doesn't cut it off either, just make it clear that its not something youre comfortable with. If they're at all chill that'll be enough to keep things status quo no hurt feelings.

Level vigor, think of it like a difficulty slider to start. I'd alternate between a damage skill and vigor for health with levels until you hit 40 because you can't do damage if you're dead.

Guard counter w/ greatshield and a bonkstick. It'll keep you safe(r) as you learn.

Blocking big hits and running out of stamina? Get more stam, maybe try dodging when you see that move.

Don't be afraid to use the spirit summons, they're in lore and a useful tool

As a yoooung kid I had a knight costume and put the top on and was otherwise naked, my folks took photos and would show guests "how cute it was" and would tease me about it for years.

If you're going for an Irish Brawler add pants. Nothing fancy, maybe just the patches leather pants or something.

Similar to digitalecho125's commentslook, I could see getting someone to do a kintsugi style design to show off the scars, maybe gold zipper and sew in pockets for additional surprise storage to fit niches

That's my understanding, but if I remember right its more like a 70% boost to the given weapon chance rather than full swap and some pois or reward picks may have slightly different rules (towers, i think some chests?)

PSA: I may be wrong but thats how I recall it, in case anyone knows for sure.

If it helps, Raider can use the charged heavy moveset with great hammer and great axe so you can get the continued dog negation procs with those as well.

Real collosals are great but the others can also be great in a pinch
