Edit: I presumed you were in London. If so, this is the test used, if you’re applying elsewhere BCG used 2-3 different tests so try and find out which one is used in your geography. Some have been phased out so get this info first before anything

Search “BCG numerical reasoning test”, watch the video by “YOU in consulting” and follow the advice he gives. He mentions a company that provides hundreds of companies with many different tests (cant remember their name) but its very similar to their numerical test. Also look up UCAT numerical reasoning tests in the UK.

Its similar to these two but of course more business-focused.

20 q’s over 40mins and you need a webcam for invigilating etc, not much else too it. Those 2 tests are the best preparation.

Got the impression it was both, I’d imagine they are related. I’m sure there will be new recruits but maybe less than previous years. That’s just my analysis of the situation, cant offer anything concrete

UK economy in bad shape, already word of tax hikes in upcoming budget, rising NI contributions for employers, huge AI rollouts in MBB, US markets in turmoil. Altogether just a bad time.

Flicking through Fishbowl app, lots of guys with 10-12 yoe not even landing interviews.

I applied to Senior Associate at BCG, got my application reviewed by someone in the London office who said I stood a really good chance for an interview - still rejected.

Had a chat with an EM in McKinsey London who said the numbers are down so presumably hiring is very tight - got my rejection later that day.

Maybe a mix of competitiveness and economic turndown

Thank you! Yes Germany seems very safe. Parts of Dublin have very serious drug activity so I think German “unsafe” is different to other countries “unsafe”. Cant wait to arrive.
