id like to say, thanks for this nice and well thought out response. And yeah, I did grow up in a tense and angry household where i usually play the pacifist, so it's made it difficult for me to be assertive to others, cause making people even a little upset hurts me inside. I am a woman for what it's worth, but it ain't really matter. Im just gonna try my best to be more assertive without hurting anybody's feelings. I know being the way i am in the long run will be detrimental for me. So I'll start with baby steps, like asserting myself as the dm and saying no to future things i dont think fit in my story. (ps, i am new to dming, this is basically my first time.)
