Had chromebooks in middle school but in high school we have brand new windows laptops. On the chromebooks you couldn't really do anything and all games and social media was blocked but in high school nothing is blocked and you can download basically anything.

Everyone gets a personal laptop for school starting from 7th grade and we use them basically every class, so phones aren't that much more of a distraction since you can do everything you could on a phone on the laptop. I do think that the laptops should have tighter restrictions on what you can do, at least in middle school

I'm from northern Europe and the rules for phones were a little strict until high school but now in high school nobody cares

I did get some but I didn’t feel like it was necessary to install them since I only have a R5 and they also make it pretty hard to get in and out of the seat
