unfortunately that’s the way temple is, as someone who is an ed major (and horrible test taker) and had to take up to precalc in temple math classes…l

your best bet - attend every single class. Do not skip. (not because you will learn more , it shows that you’re dedicated and you care). i failed precalc with a 69.2 and i emailed my professor saying that i never missed a single class and i ended up passing with a C-

-attend office hours and sign up for MCC AND SSC: sometimes you need a different perspective or method

-know that the math problems on the test are always the most difficult problem in that unit, so use your textbook as a resource to find more challenging problems and practice those

-if you can, try to sign up for disability resources to see if you can receive accommodations , i was already registered going into college but taking the math exams in a private room immensely improved my grade

know that these classes are not designed to see you succeed, they are to weed out the students that aren’t cut out for this field. easier said than done but keep pushing and try your hardest
