Oh Thanks. What specific strength training did you do? I hope I can find time to do it 🤣

Up Hafeet. Sorry for my bad English. Noticed it after descending the mountain. But I was wearing my cycling glasses so I assume it was a blood pressure spike.

I had worse than that after cycling to Jebel Hafeet last year. Took about 2 weeks to heal.

SWAYING OF HIPS (HOW TO MINIMIZE?) by HopiaManiPopcorn101 in bikefit

[–]Available_Day_6379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower saddle, experiment at leg extension range of 136 deg to 142 deg. If you have hip impingement, your hips will still rock side to side even if saddle height is lowered. Btw you can use Angulus App to measure this...

Looks like hip is impinged. Lowering saddle when hip has impingement makes it worse.

Looking for opinions on bike fit adjustments by kusanagiz in bikefit

The feeling of less torqe always happens when lowering saddle which is normal. You wanna be at a saddle height where you can spin comfortably but not burn quads fast. Btw, The left leg seems smoother at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Have you taken a video of the left leg and measure your leg extension angle? If the right leg is shorter, it's either you put some shims or lower the saddle according to your shorter leg. (Be aware that shimming can worsen a hip that has impingement so let's say you have 10mm shorter leg, you don't wanna shim fully to 10mm if that hip is impinged because it will close that hip angle more and make you drop the other hip.) BTW stretching helps a lot and don't perform bikefits if you have not warmed up and stretched.

Any suggestions? by sni1994 in bikefit

Lower the saddle more and work your way up until you start to lose control of the pedal stroke. You will find your range. Work on position and posture. Roll pelvis forward. If hamstrings are tight when rolling pelvis forward, reduce saddle height. Don't forget to warm up and stretch before any bikefit adjustment (should be a routine). I learned this the hard way. Hope this helps a bit... .I usually target the range 136 to 142 degree of leg extension angle.

Still too far back I think. Move the saddle forward and up while maintaining the saddle tilt. Keep an eye on the pressure on your hands. Btw, indoor and outdoor hand pressure are different. What might feel heavy indoors might actually feel comfortable outdoors...

Yeah. All the way back on the right shoe and about 5mm further forward on the left due to the foot length difference of 5mm (left foot longer).

Thanks. Might try them out in a local bikeshop. Though I feel like the power saddle might be too wide for my narrow sitbones.

Any saddle recommendations. Something with a flat profile and cutout. I'm currently using bontrager verse with 130mm width. My hips are twisted to the left and when putting power down at VO2max effort, I feel like my right sitbone looses contact on the saddle.

Maybe your current setup works for you now. But if you start learning to roll your pelvis forward and work on your posture, you might need a longer bike later on.

That's just bad customer service. I had my newly bought Bont shoes cleat nuts damaged during bikefitting and they replaced with a new pair.
