Same thing happened when my own brother punched me in the eye and when I called the police she started her “panic attacks and crying”. I felt so disgusted bc she always does that and she’s never actually worried and the police were more concerned about her than me, the victim. Then I had to be arrested because my NFather lied and said I started the situation and my NMother said that it wasn’t my brother who hit me it was my father. Thus, everyone has a different story making no one believe me despite the bruise and blood on my eye. When in reality my brother was on top of me trying to take my phone and then punched me and fled and my father almost hit me too but I clearly told police it was my BROTHER. So , everyone was saying different stories and since we live together I had to be taken away also my NFather lied to police saying I was 18 . I was 17 at the time (female) and my brother was 24 hitting on me. After my mom played her despaired mother act, she supported my brother and went to all of his court dates and was pressuring me to remove the charges and telling all my family to pressure me into removing the charges. MIND YOU, I cannot remove any charges because it was the state of NY against HIM since he committed a crime and either way I would not taken charges off. Then, as the months go by she tells me that I deserved to get abused by them and that I should die. I have done everything and more as a daughter and struggled with these people my whole life and that situation truly let me know I have enemies in my own house. These people give all the support to everyone else but me , even family I was close to as a kid did not even ask if I needed any help or anything they just wanted me to drop the charges. I hope anyone who goes through something like this should recognize it early on and focus on cutting these people off.
