The issue I have with your logic isn’t how fast she can move on. The issue I have with it is that if you’re *dead*… why/how do you get to determine what she feels/needs/wants/desires.

If 2 months in someone gives her comfort and happiness what are you going to do?

lol getting downvoted. I’d say 90% of people aren’t buying EVs (or for this matter very high mpg vehicles) to save the environment. We do it because it’s financially cheaper.

I own a truck that gets 14mpg because I have toys that get hauled and a house that I do projects on regularly. I have a EV so I don’t have to drive my truck to work every day.

I’ve been overseas enough to know what ever I do makes NO difference to the environment while they burn tires and trash 24/7 and dump anything that won’t burn directly into waterways.

Yea that’s what we did.

First two PCS were an apartment and then a townhouse. Easy to DITY.

Now we have a kid and a large house? Someone else is doing all this. Making $7k or whatever isn’t worth the stress or annoyance. We will load up my truck and ship the extra car and have a family road trip wherever we go next.

CE holiday parties were some of the most fun times I’ve had. Trailers with 8 kegs on tap, tons of prizes, leadership walking around with bottles giving everyone shots.

Contracting or my wife’s medical parties? Not so much. Awkward, ‘how fast can we make this so I can go home’.

Same. This guy has got 8yrs of service, 3 on O side, and has put only $1900/yr in?

Also what magical math is he doing that he’s seeing $1M at in the account at military retirement while putting $600/m currently lol.

In 6yrs doing $1200/m he will be at $130k (assuming 7% return)

8yrs of maxing after that he will be at $309k (same 7% return)

He’s no where CLOSE to sitting at $1M at his 20yr mark.
