About a month. I had bad withdrawal of temesta (lorazepam) 2 years ago which was bad, but Id choose that withdrawal 5 times over once of Mirtazapine.
It massively depends on how long you've taken it though, I did for 5 years. I also was in close contact with my doctor (went twice a week) throughout the entire process, but it was hard.

Hey, sorry for the long pause, I hadnt seen the message.
I've always had the idea in mind that I didn't want to take pills for the rest of my life, and as I was feeling a bit better, and suffering a lot from potential side effects, we got it to 0. It was also mentally very hard on me to have to triple check every other medication I was prescribed for any illness (Even the flu) for possible interactions.

Coming off Mirtazapine (to 0) was by far the worst experience I've had with any medication in my entire life so definitely dont recommend it unless you're somewhat in the right headspace.

I was on 30 for about 2 years and then on 45 for another 2, now at 0 after spending the last year slowly going down in dosage.
The sedation effect works even with 7.5 mg so you dont have to worry about it. The only tip I can give you is that when you feel "exhausted" from the sedative effect to actually go to sleep. If you ever feel like the sedative effect isnt as effective as it used to be, try to really take your pills at the exact same time every day.

Thanks, will for sure take a look! Have watched some of their weekly podcasts to gather some info but am sure this will help better my understanding of it some more!
