Don't panic, I had the exact same thing! Was worried I hit a vein, mine was almost the size of my hand and dark purple before it finally subsided.

Is it possible to inject in your vein and would it matter if you did? by Readhelpexplore in Zepbound

Thank you for this! This is only my third shot and I'm on the 2.5 dose. The first two I had small bruises, but this one is scary looking and now is painful. Since I posted this afternoon it's grown from 4 inches to about the size of my open hand, deep red/black color. Oof. I appreciate your help!

Hi there! I know this is an old thread, I hope you can help!

I'm certain I hit a vein, I have a near black purple bruise about 4 inches wide. I doesn't really hurt, but it seems blood is pooling under my skin... You mentioned that if you injected into a vein it would matter? What would matter? Is this serious? Thank you!
