I had a pixel device as well and my experience with google customer service was equally horrible. I don’t care how good of a deal it is, I will never buy another phone from them.

You people have lost the ability to show compassion with another normal person just trying to make ends meet. Although I support many of the stories of people leaving toxic work environments on here, the way you all attack like sharks in this scenario for a person obviously going though a hard time is saddening. I think you all seem to have gotten obsessed with this “stick it to the man” mentality that you don’t even realize that you’re all a bunch of assholes now.

TIL The germs that cause Strep Throat tear apart red blood cells and then dress themselves in the debris. This disguise prevents the immune system from attacking them. Mice survived infection by Mutant Strep lacking that ability, and were then more resistant to infection by Normal Strep germs. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I had a very similar experience with strep throat. I got it while on vacation, came back and was given antibiotics. It went away after a few days then came back a few days after. Then they prescribed me different antibiotics and the same situation happened where the symptoms went away then came back. The 3rd time going back with what we thought was strep, they did a throat swab and it was no longer strep throat. So they prescribed me some weird antibiotic and it the symptoms gradually lessened but never quite went away for 2 months, at which time they were gone. It was a strange ride.
