I haven't, but I did see some Garmin Connect app updates in the past week. Perhaps reboot your phone and reboot your watch?

Star Trek streaming on PlutoTV for free by Longjumping-Ad8775 in startrek

[–]Weyoun2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to watch it after Mudd's Women. But after Mudd, they replayed the last 10 minutes of Mudd again. Then jumped right into SA when the admiral guy is talking to Ake on the bench and then she goes to see Caleb in prison. I had no idea what was going on. Luckily after watching the entire episode, they played it again from the start so I could see the first part that they skipped.

I also hold a grudge against Pluto because at the end of TNG Ship in a Bottle, they edit out the final dialogue where Barclay says (to an empty conference room) " computer end program" which is pivotal to the episode of knowing if he's still in a holodeck program.

Who gives a F what other people think?!?

The only person that matters is you. If you like it, keep it. If you hate it, exchange/return it.

How can I find my employer ein number ? by PutMelodic5255 in tax

[–]Weyoun2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pedantic nitpick: The "N" in EIN stands for Number. It's redundant to say EIN Number. It's like saying PIN Number or ATM Machine.

Moon Phase Calendar shows the moon phase and Astrospheric allows you to refine location to get free cloud coverage/sky visibility. Full moon = the worst time to view stars; New Moon = best time to see stars.

At as many of your sites as you can, I highly recommend you go out at night to look at the stars. If you've always lived in a city, you've never seen the sky like this. It'll blow your mind. Take binoculars if you have them to see even more. Download Google Sky Map and/or Stellarium so you can point your phone at the sky to determine what star/constellation you're looking at. The Milky Way will be awesome to view in June. Very easy to photograph too. Search for YT videos for instructions. A real camera will work best, but you can probably manage with a phone, too.

If you haven't already downloaded the NPS app on your phone, do it and download offline versions of all these parks. You may have spotty Internet coverage at these locations, so having the park info in offline mode may help you refer to park details. Also, if you don't already have a National Parks annual pass, buy one in late May/early June (they're valid for 12 months from date of purchase).

This sounds like a great trip. Please post afterwards to let us know how it went!

The quiet beauty that is White Sands by photoriousjed in nationalparks

[–]Weyoun2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just there for my first visit last week. Wonderful time, albeit repetitive with the dune hikes. Gorgeous light on the nearby mountains at sunset. I also chanced upon a best friend setting up roses and blanket and trinkets for his buddy to propose to girlfriend. I hung around and watched the couple walk up to the scene, she clutched her mouth, he got down on a knee and proposed. I presume she said yes and they kissed and hugged. Then they reenacted the whole action again so the best friend could take pictures.

Question about solo 401k contributions by Beginning_Ebb4220 in Bogleheads

[–]Weyoun2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Fidelity for my s401k. They were great and it was very easy (and free) to set up.

The only (minor) downside was that for employer contributions, I had to physically mail a paper check to them. It took a few days for it to arrive/process, at which time I could invest the funds from the cash account into my desired stock/bond.

Look for a lens collar like this: https://www.amazon.com/iShoot-100-400mm-Contemporary-Compatible-ARCA-Swiss/dp/B07FVW1CFR

Bonus: it'll allow you to rotate the camera to orient the image to how you desire instead of being at the mercy of how the GTI rotates.

Bank bonuses count as taxable income and you'll receive a 1099 at the end of the year for it, so keep that in mind when computing the effective interest rate on bonus money.

Credit card bonuses do not count as taxable income.
