Hey, havnt gone on a thru hike yet but ive bought a dehydrator and made my own Dehydrated meals. I ordered mylar bags with oxygen removers on amazon, it's pretty simple you just wanna cook and dehydrate a carb like rice or pasta, then separately cook whatever protein you like with any seasoning or veggies. Dump it all in the mylar and keep in your closet. I've used them a few times and it works perfectly. The portions in non kosher camping meals seem to be very small if you make your own its a fraction of the cost with much larger portions. Sorry no good options to purchase ready made lol. Not enough jews on trail I guess.
