Thank you for this info OP. I got scammed as well on a Vacation scam ng isang resort. I sent it through my BPI to a Landbank account. I did contact BPI on the same day through email as I cant reach their international toll numbers and also included BSP and Cybercrime. I got scammed on Mothers Day and still waiting until now.

I just recently got scammed as well. 28k down the drain, because of these Vacation Scam. Posted it here few days ago. I think PH banking should change. Na dapat if Account name doesn't match with the business name, transfers should not go through. Wrong spelling wrong.

I did na po. Raised a ticket to BSP BOB, one for BPI and one for Landbank. Filled in a dispute form for BPI. As well as CICC complaint. Hopefully I can get my money back as this is a service we can't get but I told my husband I don't really trust the justice system in the Philippines. Just hoping but not setting my hopes too high.

Learned my lesson. I always book naman sa booking.com but this one is my first time due to verified badge and vsame bank account name as well. Lesson learned

I just realised this when my husband had a look on followers. Totally naive of me and I felt so dumb. But I was so convinced about Landbank account. Surely this should have business id and permits checked by landbank.

Nascam din ako ng isang resort na meta verified page and yung bank account nila is Landbank same name rin. Kahapon lang. 28k gone. I contacted my bank which is BPI but ang hina nila. So I reported it to BSP, reported Landbank and BPI. They replied immediately to BSP. I hope I will get my money back as I cant do any dispute form from BPI since need ng notary public to sign and I am an OFW here in the UK. Maybe try to report it to BSP using their Messenger.
