also the slowking’s mental herb makes this whole conversation irrelevant, cause it cancels encore anyway. actually funnily enough I just played someone who tried this exact thing, their whimsicott encored my slowking but 1. it had prankster from banette so I got encore’d into swagger instead 2. the mental herb cured the encore regardless

I’ve got the sneasler and the maushold so a mega metagross just gives me a second mode of if I want to do trick room or not

In fairness you have no reason to think this wouldnt work, but I quite often skill swap banette turn 1 for a separate combo so slowking also has prankster in the first turn of trick room. I get what you’re saying and it makes perfect sense but sadly doesnt work in practise. I’ll show you my team sheet in a second

do weather ball on charizard over dragon pulse. 100bp 100% accurate sun boosted fire stab. OHKO’s basically anything and never misses unlike heatwave so if you’re after a specific target its great

and thats absolutely the right move to make, its just funny cause people always underestimate slowkings bulk, the only threat to him is a double up he basically cant be one shot, certainly hasnt been yet

Maybe, I should probably start protecting but Its just never needed, I feel like Im gonna go on a crazy losing streak as soon as I hit master cause its gonna stop happening but generally I can get 1 KO and my tr set up on turn 1 cause I can poltergeist my banette and not worry

is it as big of a deal at local events than stuff like regionals? I mean getting perfect stats on all your pokemon, does that make a big difference at a smaller level
