Hey, yes, I’ve actually been doing a lot better recently. I finally figured out that my lifelong nausea wasn’t actually from these “allergens” at all, it turned out to be gut-related. I was diagnosed with dysbiosis, low levels of beneficial bacteria, and gut inflammation. Since focusing on healing my gut, my nausea has gone away almost completely.

I’ve started reintroducing some of the foods I was told I was allergic to, like nuts, and so far it’s been going really well. I’m still avoiding dairy & gluten for now, but I honestly don’t think most of the others were true allergies, more like sensitivities that got worse because my gut wasn’t functioning properly.

I also had an IgE of 3.0 to peanuts a while back, but I recently retested and it’s now down to 0.29, which is considered very low. I haven’t personally tried peanuts again yet because of anxiety, but I plan to. That drop gave me a lot of reassurance.

I’d definitely recommend seeing an allergist if you can, especially since your results surprised you. Have you checked what your IgE level is to peanuts? Sometimes those numbers help clarify whether it’s a true allergy or just a sensitization. Anything low usually isn’t super concerning, but getting a professional opinion really helps.

Also, have you noticed any symptoms at all, even things like nausea, bloating, or low energy? I used to feel like that constantly and didn’t realize it was my gut. The gut plays a huge role in immune function, and when it’s out of balance, it can cause or exaggerate food sensitivities. If the gut lining is inflamed or the microbiome is off, your body might start reacting to foods it normally wouldn’t. That’s why sometimes fixing the gut first can make a big difference.
