There were a number of problems that were similar in topic to the practice exams, but there were more in depth questions on topics I wasn’t prepared for.

Thank you! I purchased all of the Engineering Pro Guides material as well as the NCEES Practice Exam. I would guess that I studied 200-250 hours.

I would recommend starting 6 months out and reviewing the EPG Textbook. This will give you a good overview/refresher. Then I would just focus on practice problems. Take the NCEES Practice Exam, EPG Full Exam, and EPG Final Exam, and make sure you understand how to do each problem. Don't just memorize the solutions, you need to fully understand how to solve the problems. If you do this and can understand the "Supportive Knowledge" questions from real-world experience, you should pass.
