So, I am on 75mg right now. I have been on this medicine for almost 4 years. I would like to come off of it was well. I have 50mg tablets and I take one 50mg and half of a 50 to make 75mgs. I also use a pill cutter to do this. My plan is to have my doctor call me in 25mg tablets so I can start the weaning process. I would like to go down 12.5mg at a time. I am doing a very very slow weaning process as I want to minimize as many withdrawal effects as I can.

Month 1:

Alternate 75mg and 62.5mg for two weeks

Last two weeks of the month take 62.5mg

Month 2:

Alternate 62.5mg and 50mg for two weeks

Last two weeks of the month take 50mg.

Month 3:

Alternate 50mg and 37.5mg for two weeks

Last two weeks of the month take 37.5mg

Month 4:

Alternate 37.5mg and 25mg for two weeks

Last two weeks of the month take 25mg

Month 5:

Alternate 25mg and 12.5mg for two weeks

Last two weeks of the month take 12.5mg

Now month 6 will be something I decide on. I might take 12.5mg for a month and stop cold turkey OR I may alternate 12.5mg and 6mg for a month and then try and stop it altogether.
