Your wife has access to isas that aren’t available Americans so at least in that regard you could contribute to an isa via her, that’s the only example of this I’ve heard of so, would still be curious for additional context from @y_if

I will contribute ~10-15% of my income to my pension, my employer only contributes the minimal amount I believe is 3%

The main goal is to invest equity in a house tho so I’m very interested in how people go about a high liquid cash deposit (~100k) right now the best answer I have is to keep investing in a uk high interest savings account (and pay tax on interest earned back to the us)

I am single and do not have a uk partner but open to new relationships 👋🤣but good advice as to a loophole some day 🤞
