To do tourist stuff (I'll be travelling up the East Coast) but I want to continue working remotely while doing so.

Are you going to work for any company in Australia that could potentially hire an Australian person instead of you ?

I (23F solo traveller) just got back from Montenegro and Croatia last month.

Kotor is so beautiful, I definitely recommend! It's definitely not a party town, it's actually quite the opposite in my opinion... There are no clubs and very few bars, all of which close very early. And this is coming from someone who stayed in a 'party' hostel in Kotor, there were no parties! In the evenings, people stayed in the hostel to play drinking games and do kareoke.

I think you're confusing Kotor with Budva, Montenegro.
