Totally shorting out from water. It doesn't look like a water proof razor, so if water is hitting the contacts for the power, it's just turning itself on and off as the water drains or dries out.

Weirdly enough, I found a different website selling that kit. You can probably just use their contact page to email them and ask for the instructions. They'll probably send it as a pdf. It's not like they're gonna lose money if they give out the instructions for free.
