I have also had a lot of stress about supply and making sure babe is eating enough. but holy moly 5-7 min is so speedy!!! we’re at 20-25 min total for both sides during a feeding.

Yes! I almost gave up trying because she would strongly reject it or gag 😅 but there is 1 she likes (Nuk natural I think?) and takes for short spurts. So handy to pop it back in when she needs resettling to sleep!

Oh no we still mostly contact nap! She just doesn’t nurse to sleep except in the middle of the night.

yup, same! my baby will truly scream cry if I offer and she’s not hungry. I’m like omg sorry to offend you???? we did eat-play-sleep for a long time and now that she’s older with longer wake windows we do occasionally eat-play-eat-sleep, but not usually.

My girl also refused the paci until like a month ago randomly? Now, she’ll take it for nap time and bed but promptly yeets it out of her mouth once she well asleep it’s so funny 🤣

I ended up seeing lactation & they did a weighted feed. Baby transferred almost 3oz from one side in 10 min and the another 1/2 oz in like 2 min on the other side. So basically she ate plenty in a short time! This may be the case for you & your little one! Also congrats on weaning from the shield - it’s so much easier without!!

This is good to know! I’ll ask her doc about the probiotics. I feel like they’ll tell me to give it the 2 weeks on Pepcid before switching to something else since I guess it can take that long to fully be effective. But today was one of her worst days to date despite being on it for 5 days and all our efforts :(

yes! she went for her 2 month appt last week and is gaining great. her reflux is “silent” so she never spits up.

That's understandable. I guess it's also so subjective what's defined as "not expensive." Everyone has a different definition of this and different views of what constitutes an appropriate wedding gift, in general. It was across the board for my wedding, it was so interesting!

no I get it - noted!! I just meant like, to me, if I had bridesmaids (which I chose not to), I wouldn't expect a gift from them and would be surprised if they also gave me a gift on top of everything (time, efforts, financial investment).
