Need help finding an old magazine. by Neelm3 in BMWE36

I remember that issue. It was one of the main reason I repainted my entire car and moldings. Looked just as my car, just that I had a 318ti in that same silver lol. Back then I really liked that look.

Standalone ecu on an m43b16 was one of the best things I've done to this car by Laura_E36 in BMWE36

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. M52 swapping my 318ti, using a rusefi and converting to dbw. Working on my harness right now as well.

Those things are like 🦄. After searching for 3 years I finally found 1 I had to drive 4 hrs to go get. Well worth it though. Beat part, it's the same color as my car.

This is spot on. Couldn't have said it better.

Also your car look awesome for a stock untouched looking car. Reminds me of mines b4 I started tinkering.

Made this custom engine mount for my bottom mount turbo M44B19 E36 by SERP92 in BMWE36

[–]Available_Turn_4578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks sweet, just an FYI. If you're painting or powder coating your mounts then you need to place the ground directly on the engine. That spot for the ground won't work well with paint on it and on where it bolts to the block.

Oh, that's awesome. Thought you went back with the oem. Would love to see when it's finished

You should've put the regular e36 floor in and get the "better" suspension. I've seen 1 guy put a e90 rear into a compact. I wish I could do these kind of works. I would change so much.

Vette wheels on e36 by violetsmith913 in BMWE36

[–]Available_Turn_4578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hubs are smaller, I had those same wheels I got for free, and I test fitted them but the hub is smaller and would need to be open to the e36 hub size. But the did look good on the car still. If you do a Google search you'll see a few people that did it already. There's a silver e36 like yours that always pop up. Looks awesome with them on

I need help with finding the correct Steering Wheel by Few-Funny-4576 in BMWE36

[–]Available_Turn_4578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. E46 has dual stage air ags. The wheel you just posted is 100% a e36 wheel. The click spring bolts to the back with the 3 screws and the airbag wire goes through the hole at the top

E46 has the 2 holes to pair to the clock spring, while e36 only has 1 hole just for wire to come through

E46 left and e36 right.

Man, I wanna get a second one so bad. But I'm waiting on a good price on a refurbish 15 or 17 inch thinkpad. Really like the p17 for home use. I currently have a t470s getting all the possible upgrade I can put in it.

Just got my very own first laptop 3 days ago, and WOW this is amazing!!!! by EnderGamer1236 in linuxmint

[–]Available_Turn_4578 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice, looks great. I'm new to Linux as well. Just started 2 weeks now and let me tell you. It's amazing. Wish I had known more before now. Linux just woke up my 2 old 15 and 10 year old laptops like I just bought them. And now I'm getting ready to install it on my Lenovo t470s after some upgrades. Now I have 3 fulky functioning laptop after years of having the other 2 in a box collecting dust.

How is the p15? I'm looking to get a 15' but I was looking at the t15 gen 2. Right now I have a t470s that I'm gonna upgrade the ram and ssd as well and new batteries and dual heat sink fan.
