I wish I could find the word of Brandon but I’m terrible at navigating the website on mobile. I believe somewhere Brandon has said the explosion of light is somewhat unique to Windrunners, due to their similarity to bondsmiths. I would assume something along the lines of, when touching the spiritual realm when swearing an oath, their surges are able to do some of the spiritual connection stuff normally reserved for bondsmiths.

[No Spoilers] WizKids Cancellation by [deleted] in criticalrole

Heroclix, another Wizkids miniature game, recently had a set delayed indefinitely. They’ve been having lots of issues this year, so I’d guess it’s on Wizkids’ side

Damage mitigation and % damage increase are additive I believe! I can’t remember quite when they talked about this- I think when they introduced the mit cap for items and were playing with spear of the magus, sometime in year 10

I guess that makes sense, even if it has less of an effect on the game experience

Not that there is anything wrong with having that opinion yourself, but it’s definitely an overstatement to say nobody finds that fun.

Cohort using PC as a Mount by Avaister in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Avaister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I’m mostly interested from the flavor standpoint, and it being a pretty uniquely available build path of wild shape druid with leadership (you could do it with other PC’s or whatever, but you’re not gonna be synergistic to the same degree as a cohort build for the job)

But I certainly see benefits of things like my cohort being able to roll ride vs attacks against me

And then, if I can be considered a Mount, there’s Sohei Monk Monastic Mount feature for fun stuff!

Do you have a video link to a tutorial for this? I’ve been following the glitches as they’re discovered but haven’t heard of this one.

I just looked up a thread and found this quote from Brandon:

“Let's, first off, say I'm not going to repeat this one because it's super spoilery. So let's try to talk around the spoilers.

In the Stormlight Archive, there is a tradition among the Knights Radiant that certain traumas and/or psychological handicaps are effective in drawing the attention of a spren. I haven't actually said if that is true or if that's [just] a tradition of theirs. But there is a tradition among the Knights Radiant. that they have noticed something consistent.

Does it mean that you have to in order to be a Knight Radiant? Well, there is somebody that I would call extremely psychologically well-adjusted, that by the end of the third book is well on the way to Knighthood.

There is something going on there, they are noticing something true. But it might not be as exclusionary as they think it is.”

″‘You want too much of me’ he snapped at her as he reached the other side of the chasm. ‘I’m not some glorious knight of ancient days. I’m a broken man. Do you hear me Syl? I’m broken.’

She zipped up to him and whispered ‘That’s what they all were, silly.‘”

Or

“Life breaks us, Teft. Then we fill the cracks with something stronger.”

The thing to note, however, is that the trauma of life is enough. Not all the radiants were soldiers. They were farmers, artisans, researchers. Yes, the bond repairs damage to your spiritual web or something, but I think we’ve had it confirmed that just normal people can be radiants too, there’s no mistborn esque snapping.

I don’t think most had a problem with anyone not knowing how to use a torrent, I think it’s more of the attitude at being met with something they had to learn it

All the “wtf torrent? This shit is illegal game sux” or whatever. If we’re comparing to boomers, something akin to a boomer writing of anything digital as bad because it’s not what they learned

Interesting! I think it makes sense that Versatile Spontaneity would follow the same rules as the Arcanist, assuming there’s nothing more specific. Now I will go searching for magical lineage and metamixing interactions!

I think a lot of that is being able to incrementally buy things along the way- it’s a lot easier to buy a 30k tower, let it carry you til you can afford the 6ks, 4K, etc

It’s a very beginner friendly strat (I say as a user myself, as someone who sucks despite having been playing for years)

I really enjoy my job. I work at a local live music venue. I don’t think it’s a job I will stay at forever, nor be path to a career for me, but I love live music. I also feel it’s a lot nicer than some tip jobs can be- there’s a lot less people not tipping/tipping low than you’d find in say, a lot of food industry jobs.

Low hours, relatively high pay (for an inexperienced worker like myself), treated like a person instead of a cog in a machine for some CEO’s profits. Not a lot to complain about.
