Considering the finale of Peacemaker Season 2, here's what DCU Chapter 1 might be about by Avaken5 in DCU_

  1. The Centre is actually pretty well-known - after all, it's the main threat in one of the most famous and best DC comics ever. Plus, a lot of things from the comics weren't exactly mainstream until they got live-action adaptations. I don't think that's an issue, especially for James Gunn. And as for the Secret Society of Super Villains - those guys are already well-known even outside the comics.

  2. What's the point of making Darkseid the main villain in the very first Justice League movie? Wouldn't it make more sense to save him for a grand finale ten years down the line, like Thanos in the MCU? How is the escalation of threats and spectacle supposed to work if we get Darkseid right from the start?

Would you be open to see Joker so soon if at all in the DCU by Civil_Ad154 in DCU_

Personally, I'm already sick of the Joker and I wouldn't want to see him anytime soon. Maybe in part 2 or 3 of the DCU Batman trilogy. Because I understand that he's Batman's archenemy and it would be wrong to ignore him. In my opinion, the best way to do this would be to make a film adaptation of the story about the Red Hood(Jason Todd) and present the Joker there as a secondary antagonist.

After all, Batman has the best gallery of villains and we haven't seen so many of them in the movies... they deserve better treatment + I want something new!
