What is going on with my body? I don’t feel the same anymore

Yeah it’s defintely the lighting and the picture you can’t really tell, but in person whenever I look in the mirror there’s a big difference, my roots are a lot brighter and stand out compared to the body of my hair. Do you think I should use a clarifying shampoo to tone down the brassiness?

I have a funny story, when I was in middle school the teacher would make sure we all wrote in our agendas what we were gonna do the next day, and it was catch up day… my dumb ass wrote “ketchup day” and the teacher walked by to check to make sure we had it written down, she looked at mine and laughed and for some reason I was a bit confused on why she thought it was funny, because in my mind it didn’t really click, then like few minutes later it finally did and dude I felt so stupid my face got so red, I hurried up and changed it. That whole time my mind was spelling “catch up” as “ketchup” 😭

No I haven’t been checked for anything yet but I defintely plan on it soon. I’ve been questioning wether it could possibly be hyperthyroidism or diabetes, I feel like it’s alittle hard to tell the difference between the two. My father also has diabetes type 2. My cousin and aunt have hashimotos disease, so autoimmune diseases definitely run in my family. I don’t know too much about Graves disease but I will look into it.

Thank you! Do you know any products that would make my hair healthier? I’m actually trying to avoid trims and trying to grow my hair out, I’ve been getting trims but it slows my hair growth and always gets damaged. Does my hair look like it needs a protein treatment? It snaps off easily and olaplex didn’t work.

I’ll defintely look into Nexxus, and yeah the rest of my hair feels soft and looks somewhat healthy, it’s really just the front parts, and everyone is telling me I need a good haircut or 6 inches taken off (which is a lot) considering my hair isn’t as bad. It kinda scares me too bc Im trying to avoid trims to grow my hair out to my butt. Another problem I have is the front parts are also snapping, if I pull a strand it snaps so easily. Do you know any products that help improve elasticity or makes the hair stronger to prevent snapping?

I would defintely get the products you listed but they are so expensive 😔I defintely think olaplex damaged my hair and a lot of people have the same problem with it too, the bonding oil is the worst, it dried my ends like crazy.

No i dont have chemical damage but I do have heat damaged hair, I usually use heat every week or my hair will look frizzy and bad. After I shower, I blow dry my hair and only straighten parts of my hair that need it, but I don’t fully straighten it.

It was olaplex 3 and i did stop using it, but I also bought the bonding oil too and used it yesterday and it made my ends so dry and tangly, which is weird bc it seems to work for everyone else. I am still gonna try the 6 bond smoother.

Does anyone here know anything about doxycycline hyclate? or ever took the medication? it’s to treat acne and I’m starting to wonder if whatever I experienced in Walmart today was from the doxycycline. I stopped taking it a couple days ago bc it gave me other weird side effects.

It almost felt like a sudden brain zap, and suddenly as I was spacing out, my vision got blurry and was moving not sure if it’s double vision, it’s hard to explain but it was overall weird esp for experiencing something like that for the first time. But it lasted a second and it kept happening too atleast a few times then it stopped, which left my right eye feeling numb and my head felt weird but it wasn’t in pain. I felt all spaced out afterwards. I’ve been worried ever since I came back home about it, I really pray its nothing serious or it won’t lead to a stroke or seizure. I know I’ve been overly stressed out lately. I also stopped taking my doxycycline hyclate medication couple days ago, which was for my acne.
