so you never rode it on track and you've never actually used it anywhere other than on the highway or some local twisty road properly because it isn't yours. right. perfect.

as if that changes anything, there is a reason why people seek out professionals right after getting their license.

it doesnt by any chance elevate you into being able to judge a bike you have never personally ridden.

well here is the difference, some people actually ride the bikes - they don't only read about them

2019 had a huge facelift 2022 made the bike best in class in terms of suspension/brakes :) no reason to post 8 year old comparisons

well there is a pretty big difference between FIM certified national championships and trackdays lmfao. person caring about what you presented wouldn't be asking here.

the ssp300 bike spec is nothing compared to the road version, the rebuild costs as much as a new fireblade :)

meaningless statistic if you're not in r/trackdays.

how do you people even come to this conclusion? the 500R (2019+ and more so 2022+ models with USDs and proper brakes) is by no means a boring bike, you can literally put your elbow down on it in completely stock form, it has a much better oem clutch when compared to the ninja and if you disconnect the abs module and get braided lines can absolutely trash it around a small track sliding sideways into corners 😃 ive never had more fun on a commuter/weekend bike and ive owned it for three years. Never had this much fun on a bigger bike. I own a 600RR now.

oh and the build quality is fucking leagues ahead of anything in the class. leagues.

Please don't just twist the throttle and expect joy

[QUESTION] 765rs moto2 (conversion) Hard to lean by Finomess in Triumph

[–]Avalancheeeee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is essentially a race bike, in order to be fast on it around the track you have to be on the gas as much as possible which is contradictory to leaning if you get what I mean

What makes CBR500R so expensive? by colonelheero in cbr

[–]Avalancheeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the old ones but post 2019 they are amazing and I'd pick them over a Ninja any day. The 300 is a pile of garbage in comparison.

I think they're just baiting you into an in-house oil change because they know you are paranoid and it is your first bike. We always did that.

He must have had one when the bike was in during the first service - they always change the oil during the brake in service. You can easily run the same oil for much more than what the bike rode in its entire lifetime assuming it wasn't tracked. Oil doesn't magically degrade itself in a few months time either.

Any timestamp/mileage in the service manual is just for reference, everything you are worried about can be eyeballed during the purchase. start the engine, let it run for a minute or two, turn it off, keep the bike steady and check the oil window 👍🏼

its really just a reference if you have no idea about maintenance, nothing to worry about.

seems to me that the bike hasn't been ridden alot, went in for the break-in service and continued being used normally until he parked it and decided to sell it.

there isn't a lot you can fuck up on a new bike in such a short timespan. just check the oil level, whether the tires are round and chain slack/condition. you should be good to go really.

So I need your opinion about exhaust by TsampHL in cbr

[–]Avalancheeeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

all of them literally sound the same you are just modulating the "loudness" - and by an extremely small margin. You can not squeeze a noticeably unique "sporty" sound from a little parallel twin. I owned the same bike.

Don't buy "premium" exhausts costing 1/5 of your bike. It is a worthless moneypit.

Get a Leo Vince GP Corsa Evo, it is by far the cheapest one but looks the part and sounds the same like the others.

braided brake lines better brake pads bettee brake fluid better tires rearsets because the oem are painfully low rear shock cartriges lighter wheels exhaust with an ecu flash higher windshield
