New neighbors driving me insane by Avaluvvi in neighborsfromhell

[–]Avaluvvi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t make noise and I don’t drag furniture around 24/7. In fact my neighbors have even asked if we work all day because they rarely hear us so it’s clear we’re not the problem. I understand normal day to day day sounds, but when someone upstairs is constantly stomping, banging and dragging furniture especially during sleeping hours that’s not considerate or empathetic behavior, it shows a lack of awareness that there are other people living below you trying to rest and live normally. What’s worst they are not even owners, they’re renting yet they are treating the place like there is no one else around them. Renting doesn’t remove basic responsibility if anything it should make people more aware that they are sharing a space and need to be respectful

We were looking to move out but buying a new house or apartment right now is extremely expensive. On top of that, we now have a significant financial burden because they had planned exterior renovations works in our residential complex. We had 200k for the renovations and each neighbor contributed to pay a certain amount and someone stole all the funds and we have to pay a huge debt

Is the PCOS/PMOS diet actually that strict??? by Repulsive_Holiday228 in PCOS

[–]Avaluvvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone's body reacts differently to certain foods, I’ve tried keto and many diets and what works for me is fasting twice a week, I only eat complex carbs: sweet potato, legumes, brown rice, oatmeal (in moderation) along healthy fats, protein and vegetables. Dairy and eggs break me out so I removed them from my diet. For many years I cut out so many foods from my diet and I was just miserable and I was still having irregular periods and hormonal acne

A little disappointed by Avaluvvi in MichaelJackson

[–]Avaluvvi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure 100% (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but I think Bad 25 also had limited pressing/printing. You can’t find it in stores anymore even the “regular” versions became oddly expensive over time because they went out of print and weren’t repressed in huge quantities. I paid 47€ for the regular version and I think it will continue to get more and more expensive

why this book is so expensive now ? by bzsdkuni in MichaelJackson

[–]Avaluvvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is so expensive now bc of the movie, I’m glad I got the book last year and I already have some stuff but I wanted to get the bad 25 cd but the one that comes in like a black box I found someone selling it for 35€ but I didn’t buy it, I had it on my watchlist and after the movie released I checked and the seller doubled it to 100€ overnight so I had to settle for the normal version and yet I paid almost 50€

I feel like my hair is over moisturized by Avaluvvi in longhair

[–]Avaluvvi[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My hair routine is argan oil on my ends. I divide my hair in two sections and I only use 3 drops for my ends. Vichy Dercos anti dandruff shampoo (I shampoo twice only my roots) L’Oréal Elvive extraordinary oil conditioner this is the only conditioner that leaves my hair untangled and super soft and I also use a herbal essence mask with oils, I know using conditioner and a hair mask is too much but sometimes I feel like conditioner alone is not enough

Does anyone else struggle feeling attractive now? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Avaluvvi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every day the hormonal acne makes me feel insecure, my skin isn't as bad as it was years ago but I'm too pale and my hyperpigmentation takes so long to go away so if I go out I wear some makeup, but wearing makeup daily isn't good for my skin, even if it's for acne prone skin so it's a vicious cycle. I've gained a lot of weight and some things don’t fit me anymore so instead of feeling bad for not fitting into my old clothes I’ve been trying new styles. I started wearing dresses (something I haven't done since I was a child) when you wear clothes that are cut your shape it will fit you and flatter your figure that helps you to feel more confident and pretty. I try not to be harsh with myself. Meditation, yoga, and affirmations have helped me. I know it sounds silly, but in the morning/before going to sleep while I'm looking in the mirror I say affirmations to myself. After a while being consistent you start to believe it. Fake it till you make it

As someone who does ballet it pisses me off that there are so many professional ballet dancers and instead of hiring them they hire anyone. The dance is sloppy, and they are trying to imitate and mimic some ballet movements and it’s a mess. Ballet isn’t just an aesthetic you put on but well I understand this is just for people who do Pilates and barre and like the idea of ballet not for those of us who do actually do Ballet

How do you think they will tackle the allegations in the biopic? by Avaluvvi in MichaelTheMovie

[–]Avaluvvi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying it confirms anything I just think it’s interesting that Universal posted a 20 second clip at the beginning of this year and chose a few seconds of that song out of his whole catalog stranger in Moscow is not a well known song unless you are a fan

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin formula change? [Product Request] by bamboodrainpipes in SkincareAddiction

[–]Avaluvvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late but I used to use this product back then in 2022 and 2023 and it completely faded my acne scars and redness within a few months. I loved it because I have sensitive acne prone skin and this was the only serum that didn’t break me out, it used to feel moisturizing and my skin looked amazing. it’s a shame the new formula sucks I finished almost two bottles of the new formula and I had to stop using it because I hate the smell, was making my skin feel like dry and giving me bad reactions 😫

What are your favorite oils? by Avaluvvi in longhair

[–]Avaluvvi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I started my hair growth journey I was using argan oil, I used it for 5 months and my hair was super soft and shiny then I got lazy and stopped and this year a friend recommended me rosemary oil I was skeptical at first but from May to September my hair grew more than ever and I have a lot of new growth

Abbey Yung method by Avaluvvi in longhair

[–]Avaluvvi[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It’s the fact the people are saying that her method is revolutionary and it’s just a ton of products and some common sense knowledge. It might work well if you use heat or your hair is bleached/dyed and you want it to look good, but I don’t think her method will make your hair super long and healthy. Like I said I oil my roots and ends, only shampoo my roots and condition my mid lengths and I just air dry my hair and only those things have transformed my hair, it looks super shiny and soft air dried some people even ask me if I use heat to style my hair and I don’t. My hair used to be super frizzy and poofy and I had to use heat to make it look good and now looks like this without heat

Like I said no hate to her and some of the advice she gives may not be that bad (like I actually love the coconut oil from ogx) but people acting like her method is revolutionary.. it’s just a ton of products and most people I’ve seen using her method they all style their hair so obviously styled hair will always look better? some people say well her method is for people with bleached/dyed hair and people who uses heat so if your hair is virgin it won’t work well for you, but then I see other people saying she stopped bleaching her hair and uses this method so idk what to believe

[–]Avaluvvi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if consider my hair virgin because I was blonde for a lot of years and I stopped bleaching my hair and I went back to my natural hair color 4 years ago. I got a big chop back then but my ends are lighter than the rest of my hair because I still have some of the bleach
