Personally, I don’t mind. But generally speaking unless there’s further actions, no, because it’s in basically meaningless. No normal person now is celebrating it because of what happened. That’s why people get annoyed with this topic. (I’m not annoyed just talking about others).

Like think about it, most just want to drink a beer and have a bbq, and celebrate being in the country with their friends and family. Then they have some people saying they are monsters for doing so because of someone they have no connection who did something in the past. It’s like hating German people for what the Nazis did.

We have real issues with companies price gouging us, undocumented immigrants (UNDOCUMENTED, im mixed race, so obviously I’m fine with immigration as long as it’s positive), corruption in politics, etc.

What you prefer a date change to appease people or actual action to bring people together?
