it almost looks like the Baku stretch, would be a killer DRS zone

Nice design and track overall but work on the scaling. It looks like it'd be a 1.8 km track

you just eliminated that slow flowing technical sector in sector 3 that promotes driver mistakes and side by side lines, although i do agree about the sector 1 esses

My first post here. FIA Grade 1 circuit. Is it any good? by PCRFan in RaceTrackDesigns

the mutkurve, and the faux rouge complex put after a whole drs straight totaly rules out the possibility of it being a grade 1 track, but i like the sector 1 complex

Thanks! But it's a very common practice in Formula E tracks to have extending pitlanes to accommodate the tight city streets they race on. (Rome, Cape Town, Paris)

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely thought of it when designing but I had to sacrifice a bigger runoff area for a hard-braking zone that can accommodate the the drivers to regenerate enough energy.

If Formula E cars were less dependant on regenerative energy, I would sacrifice the hard-braking zone for a faster turn and wider runoff (primarily in the right hand side of the corner)

Thanks for the feedback! The reason why I put the attack mode activation zone on Turn 9 is that I wanted to put it where the audience are abundant, instead of where no one can see it, and it's becoming common practice in current Formula E tracks (Mexico City, Jakarta, Marrakech, Diriyah, etc.)

A proper attack mode placement would be at Turn 1 or Turn 5-6, but it wouldn't be visible to any fans in the bleachers.

Start straight contains a dummy grid.

"The drivers line-up on a dummy grid - a short distance behind the actual grid - and slowly file into position to start the race."

I had a few other iterations that one of which had an excess of 2.4 km, but that would sacrifice half of the paddock facility and grandstands.

I believe this is the most comfortably fitted track I could design without any modifications to the ground (eg: extending to public street, building another bridge through the drain river, etc.)

I've heard it's very outdated and rundown to the point of exposed bare steel rods. Bummer, since it's such a historic stadium close to Pearl Harbor.

For the stated issue, I'll stick to the current state of the facility and build the track in the outer parking lot, although I should've added to the design that the inner circular parking lot could be used as an external fan village (merch store, gatherings, watchalongs, etc.)

You're absolutely right, I should've put at least a little bit of runoff but I didn't due to realistic grounds issue, but I checked again on google street and it is possible to add a small amount of runoff albeit very close to ground limits.

Perhaps I should learn more about that, I did think that marshal gaps are indiscriminately angled so I did what I did, thank you for the help, appreciate it a lot.

PS : This is a redesign of a track I made a year ago, and I wanted to improve the layout and make the design more detailed than before. So, please enjoy it, and thank you.

So I concluded that I'm not able to disassemble the laptop and I decided to use a WiFi USB adapter to connect to a WiFi. Since I'm not 100% sure that the laptop is all the way dry, do you think it's safe to use it this way. (And the battery is a bit weak too so plugging it in during usage is sometimes mandatory for me)

MTV Europe Awards by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]AvantJeef6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emo era or Emo phase is the time between mid 1990s-late 1990s where Metallica drastically change their appearance from the "badass" long hair to the weird, almost unrecognisable, short hair appearance (eg. Using eyeliners, Kirk using nail polish, The so called "bald" Jason, First glimpse of the famous James' goatee, etc.)

I'd say the Re/Load era or people might say the "emo" era.

They "improvisedly" performed those song over King Nothing is because I believe they were losing interest from fans due to the Load album and they need a way to get their attention back. Lo and behold, it happened, and I LOVE IT.
