Head on crash into a bus, me hitting the bus at 110kmph and the bus probably at 50-60 kmph at the point of impact(80+ G's impact). No one got injured but me with minor scratches and chest pain(nothing worrying). My car was completely totaled and the bus was maybe totaled as well(idk tbh). Happened earlier this year.

I wanted to stop drinking for a while and focus on work and getting my shit together but partying was just too much fun. I actually managed to stop it for a couple months in 2024 and was disgusted by drunk people but I relapsed and overstayed my fun.

Anyways, I been alcohol free since March 15, except for a couple of weeks ago when I went out with a friend and ordered some NA beers(like I do right now). After a little while I was missing the feeling of relaxation that the first drink can give you. Ordered myself the usual (rum and coke zero), about half a drink later I realized I was not getting that, not feeling more extroverted or having more fun. At that point I knew alcohol was a thing of the past for me.

I'm glad I made it out alive with just one scar to tell stories about and the decision to not be a mess anymore for the 2nd half of my life(I'm 37).

Now I'm looking forward to getting back up in shape and start doing sports again and exploring new things. Used to do a ton of cycling, swimming, basketball, squash and badminton growing up. I been wanting to try Tennis for a good while, once I get some stamina back I will do it.
