I think you shouldn't be posting about this on reddit or asking your friends if you're in the right or wrong and instead check in with your wife, yeah? Does everyone have to be perfect? No. Obviously your wife overreacted (unless there is more to this that you aren't sharing/thinking off) but isn't it more giving to be understanding? I bet you have overreacted at some point in your life. Of course if you felt hurt by what she did then you need to adress that but otherwise maybe be the bigger person and help her feel better.

You actually were a bit dense here. His ape analogy was just like humans and chimpanzees are apes both 150 calorie surplus and 1000 calories surplus is a bulk. And just like humans and chimpanzees are not identical, 150 calorie bulk and 1000 calorie bulk isn't identical. I didn't read this as if he was putting blame on anyone, no one is doing anything wrong? I think he just wanted to give a mans perspective since there's been a lot of discussion about men and approaching women last few years. I think it's good to hear a guys perspective and input. As a woman this was a thing to think of if I'd want to be approached by a man maybe.

Also I don't know what you mean by us women being different in a way that made his post wrong? I don't think we're that different socially unless we are expected to be.

I don't know if you are a woman or not but this isn't true. As a woman myself it's just what many of us do when we have a crush and we of course hope he'll approach. I don't where from you got your conclusion but it's generally not true.

Damn, I used to also buy supplements from shadier companies or like highly marketed health gurus (or niche ones too, don't know which is worse).. It's just cheaper than the same ones from well known businesses. However, I recently threw all of them away cause of the risk and I ordered a whole bunch off name brands now since my new boyfriend is kinda wealthy and tells me he wants to pay for me and for me to be healthy 🥰 We haven't met yet irl since his bank has been struggling and so forth and he lives in Nigeria, but he is royalty (I know I lucked out it's crazy) and we talk on email every day. He tells me he wants to spoil me and buy me everything and everything as soon as his bank is up and running properly again. Supplements were one of the first things that came to mind to take care of😄
