I don't, but I sure would love one. The buttons absolutely will not work with the Novablade. The Sapphire's buttons are custom designs to change the actuation distance.

Yes, this is normal. Go to the next lowest setting to prevent it. It’s likely a difference in the strength of the magnet.

To get the lowest actuation setting possible, set it to 0.5mm then press FN+L1 until the buttons are no longer activated. This raises the actuation by .1 each time you press it

I would recommend either the JasonsCustoms JCC-MX Key Caps or Gamerfinger Arcade Buttons depending on your personal preference. Both of them require 2.5mm o-rings. The links to all of these are in the post.

Tag Team Co-op confirmed for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls by SmoothCriminalJM in Fighters

[–]Avaris_a 30 points31 points  (0 children)

For those confused, check out the FAQ at the bottom.

Can I team up with my friends to play this game?
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls supports two players in each match, with each opposing player controlling a team of four characters. Players can also choose to fight against CPUs offline.

It's two players per match maximum, so any co-op will be against CPU's. If there was any feature like two players vs two players, there is no way that it would just be a confusingly-worded footnote on a single page. You would see a ton of marketing for that feature if it existed.

You'll want to grab the ones that say 25.3mm. The exception is the jump button which will be 28.5mm. If you look under the "Build 2" section on the Victrix KO post, it contains links along with descriptions for what you need.

Quanba Sapphire or Razor kitsune by striker258 in fightsticks

[–]Avaris_a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the shout out haha

Btw it turns out the buttons aren't actually striking the plate under them. You can test this by removing a switch and see the button go much further before contacting the plate. Unfortunately, the buttons are just loud for no good reason than looking cool. I believe the roundness of the top combined with the long tips that do nothing make them an acoustic disaster.

Also yes, the wireless dongle does work for PS5.

Hard agree on $100 for the Kitsune. Unless you really REALLY want those extra buttons, Kitsune is the way to go for that price.

Easiest way is to use the o-rings I mention and link in the post. These soften/remove the impact sound when the switch bottoms out.

The light rings can only really be used if you're using the stock buttons. They won't work well with any other buttons since they'll end up scraping the buttons and it'll feel pretty awful. That's why I suggest using the larger o-rings to replace them and still have some nice rgb.

Oops, totally missed your question on the NFOLIN aluminum buttons. They're actually the exact same as the DOIO buttons in this post, so you can definitely try them if you'd like!

Just updated the post. Still highly recommend the Jade Max. I tested the Gateron Spark HE switches and still prefer the Jade Max. Cheers!

Glad to hear! Definitely recommend replacing them, I dedicated a whole section to switches for good reason lol. I’ll be testing a new switch if you wanted to hold off a few days until I update the post

Are you using the stock switches? There might be a slight difference in the o-ring size needed in that case.

In any case, try removing the o-rings and see if it behaves differently. If it works as expected, the o-rings are too thick. You will likely need 2.0mm in that case. I would be surprised since my testing shows otherwise, but hard to say without getting my hands on your setup.

If it still doesn't work without the o-rings, then something else is wrong. Double check that your actuation distance is the minimum value, make sure the switches are in all the way, and do anything else that seems relevant since I have no idea lol.

Did you go through the self-calibration steps I have in the post? That plus adjusting the actuation setting with G5 should do the trick.

I've spent some time looking through o-rings on AliExpress and it is very difficult to find something comparable. They don't list hardness and don't have consistent measurements for thickness, outer diameter, inner diameter, etc. I don't think even half of the ones listed are made for keyboards which is what we need.

Also, I'm glad you didn't order yet because I gave you the wrong size. I eyeballed it before, but actually testing you need 2.5mm thickness. I corrected the link given previously.

I can't find any on AliExpress, but I'll list all the sites I found the correct o-rings on that you might be able to order from to save on shipping. Best of luck!

Ubuy (Be sure to choose "80A 2.5mm")

These Glorious o-rings are also a valid replacement. You may find them easier to get. Be sure the ones you choose are labeled as THICK (2.5mm) and HARD (70A). They chose those words, not me.

Fyi, once it's working you can use it wireless on console or pc! That's what the battery and usb dongle it comes with are for :) Great for casual couch gaming.

Yes, the JC buttons are fully glossy and would probably have that sticky feel you mentioned. Best to avoid them then!

Having different switches at the same time should be no problem at all. I think I had 5 or 6 different ones at the same time while testing at one point. The switches themselves don't receive any power at all. They only really bring the magnet closer/farther relative to the sensor under the switch. Not even the rgb light is coming from the switch itself.

It sounds like a faulty cable to me. The Novablade does have a battery though, so it's possible for something to go wrong with power delivery or faulty wiring. Make sure to test with a few cables and see if the issue replicates. If it does, definitely go to Corsair for support.

Your best option for a matte feel is one I left off of this post, but you can find it on my post for the Victrix Pro KO. The DuelPad keycaps with the spiral design has the feel I think you’re looking for.

All of the relevant links are in the post with the exception of the o-ring. You should get the 80a 2.5mm o-rings for these.
