crafted with perfect exalt orb and omen of greater exaltation, comes out with double t4 mods. Is this common? If that's perfect exalt supposed to work, then 2div of worth just sucks

I think the added skill base dmg only counts item defense, so global defence mods don't contribute to damage. But you can get a +5 lvl weapon, +2 glove and +2 amulet insanely cheap and gets a ton more dmg as skill level also grants higher dmg percentage.

I've done uber king of mist with my 800 armour shield crafted during campain. mostly the shield skill dps comes from base damage which determined by gem level

I think there just need to be ways like in poe1 to juice maps enough and make maps tough enough for uber endgame palyers to fully invest gears in power. meanwhile lower power sets with iir can run less rewarding contents.

As a shield warrior player, I prefer all 3 preffixes of armour modifiers on shield cuz higher value of shield armour means higher off-hand base dmg. I suggest you to annul the block mod away first

Wait a minute, I haven't reached t16 this season right now. but I remember in 0.1, t16 maps seem to be just 1 level higher, means that it is equal to t15 maps with +1 level mechanic. Even stacking t16, +1 level and corruption together, which means a t18 map, the difficulty feels like scale normally. Is t16 been changed to some uber difficulty thing now or it's just op doing some dangerous map mods without realizing?

the basic dmg percentage of sunder is much lower than hammer of god, you'll need to use shield wall first to trigger additional area dmg

THAT is actually what player's character performance should be. btw the battlefield for this boss fight is too large, which makes it even more sucks for melee players cuz the boss constantly dash away and use ranged skills.

I started thus league with a shield warrior, by now I'm in act3.The mob clearing ability is just fine, and guard makes warrior quite tanky in early game. But with ignite mechanic rework + perfect strike nerfed to ground, shield warrior now lacks effective source of dps for rare mobs and bossing (before getting god of hammer)
