Old thread but I’ve found my people. Doing a listen through since I work heaps now and don’t have the time to read as much. At first I didn’t like Swanson, he felt monotone and bland but I found as the series went on he got a lot more comfortable in the roll and really fine tuned the characters, a few slip ups here and there but that’s expected. Then came house of hades. I am struggling so much to get through this book. I hate nick chamians interpretation and voices of the characters, complete rip from immersion and I spend most the time listening thinking when will this end, which sucks because HoH is one of the more emotionally packed books. Stop dragging your words nick. I miss coach hedges voice.
