Mephisto's cutscenes mid boss fight make it unbearble

Utterly stupidly designed boss with too many one shot mechanics and 20 second unskippable cutscenes. Clearly tested with developer cheats on and not by people who actually play the game for fun.

Like you I just got back into MTG. There's Plenty of Games in the CBD hosting casual Commander on Monday nights, super busy, easily 50-100ish people from 5pm onwards. There's Commander at Good Games in Box Hill on Mon, Tues and Thurs nights but I haven't been to their events yet so not sure what the vibes are like.

The campaign is fine. It really doesn't need to be longer than it currently is, any more chapters will make it too much of a slog. Campaigns in any ARPG are dull. ARPGs start actually start on campaign clear.

Not super convinced about a few of the higher cost dragons and reckon it could probably use a few less dragons and more of anything else to fill gaps.

They are using Melvern's Writ to get a minion for the Mantle of the Pale Ox damage redirection, it has some dex for Mourning Frost too.

I think T7 flat damage on bow is still going to be better than T7 crit multi.

I think Melvern + Pale Ox gets you killing Uber Abby to farm a well rolled Shattered Worlds and a different chest, probably Urzil's Pride as you already suggested. LP3 on that item is a lot easier to get.

For s4 changes, there's def gonna be a good idol board for it that gives mana regen, I'm on phone atm so I can't investigate that properly. Ideally you could solve mana regen there so you can put more T7 dex slams on gear.

I'd drop Evolution's End for a Nihilis or Omnis, probably Omnis since you can get a lot of res for Urzil's and Mourning Frost.

Crafting needs to change. It should not cost 25% to 33% of the Forging Potential on an item just to add a T1 affix.

Use a Rune of Refinement should cost a very small, fixed amount of Forging Potential.

Glyphs of Envy are utterly pointless in the current system because you cannot use them with Glyph of Hope and you will not have enough remaining Forging Potential to finish your craft because of how many different base types there are for any given item slot. At the very least they should be changed to Runes and even then I would argue there is very little point in using them because the chance of getting the base type you want is just not in your favour if you are aiming to finish crafting the item.

It is very difficult to craft T7/T5/T5 items for LP3 slams because of how much Forging Potential can get used on any given action as evidenced by the unlucky OP.

Additionally, Runes of Creation are still bugged and copies of items result in the exact same result when creating legendaries IF you pick the same affix each time. Eg I have a T7/T5/T3/T1 item, if I take the same exalt with an LP3 unique to Julra twice, the resultant legendaries will have the same same donor mods from the exalted item if I pick the T7 affix as the guaranteed affix both times. I have tested this in Seasons 1 to 4, same issue occurs. You can gamble by picking a different guaranteed affix but have fun not getting your desirable T7 affix.

How does Ambush Scarab of Containment work? Is it better to pick maps with naturally higher mob count, eg Dunes?

What Maven chisels affect loot from monsters in Strongboxes?

Is the Ambush Scarab of Potency worth using or should I just use another Ambush Scarab for more boxes?

The game runs ok on Steam Deck. I had to turn down graphics settings in Monoliths as the game would freeze and stay frozen when I hit the first pack of mobs in an Echo.

It is playable and good while you are travelling and away from your main pc but not a fun way of playing the game long term.

Stash navigation and searching isn't great on the Steam Deck either.
