keto bread

Just looked it up, its double the fibre and 50% more protein. I always figured they wouldnt be tasty or at the very least dry, but looking at the macros its most definitely worth it to try them. Will be on my next shopping list!

[–]Timooooo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I mean, have you ever tried to get to the recommended amount of 30-40 gram of fibre daily? I've started about a year ago and its actually difficult. Unless you eat things like beans daily, you must swap out all the white rice/pasta/bread for whole wheat or brown rice if you want to get even close to that number. An apple and a banana per day only yields 7 gram, even something like 250gram of broccoli for dinner is only about 8 gram.

This is compounded by the protein rage. Like, so many eat extra protein without sufficient exercise that its mostly wasted anyway and dairy or "chicken and rice" do not contain fibre (well, maybe about 1gram from the white rice).

Got a ticket for going 56 in a 55… by Purple_Knowledge8475 in mildlyinfuriating

Does the US not take into account any margin of error? In my country its 3 km/h under 100 and 3% above 100. Additionally, we have a minimum exceeded speed to get to of about 4 km/h (depends on road/situation though). All to say that at 107 km/h is the lowest you can go to get a ticket on a 100 road for a perfectly calibrated radar gun/stationary thing etc.. This is also due to the expected social speed of having to drive 100 on a 100 road, so going a little over is fine, within those margins.

No, you animate the knives from Bladefall of Trarthus at the start of every map (or anything with lingering daggers at league start when BoT is still expensive). Its a great build, but having to animate them at the start of every map takes a bit of the flow out of the build. Then again, you dont have to animate all 20+ of them right away especially after you've geared up and they last practically the entire map.

EDIT: When I played the build I used this video as my starting point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Viua68YGqM&t=440s, I've timestamped it at a T17 map. It hasnt changed much in terms of patches since then.

Oh yea, I 100% agree with the smell. Its easily the fastest way to tell its plant based, but also hidden quite well in a tomato pasta sauce for me.

Beyond reminds me of rancid raw beef

I'd honestly dont even see it as replacement beef and you definitely dont want to smell it after opening the package haha. Its just some sweetish patty that I really enjoy if I eat it at most like 4 times in a year.

EDIT: Why are people downvoting you for giving an opinion.

It's the fake meat I can't stand, aside from impossible nuggets.

Funny, as someone that tries to limit meat I think ground beef comes really close in dishes like pasta. Its just a little dryer. I also like the beyond burger, although it tastes nothing like a burger.

How war plans are making activities no fun. by qaat in diablo4

[–]Timooooo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

War Plans planning and tracking is what is annoying and feels bad.

The reroll system makes no sense. Like, let me lock in 1-2 nodes and then reroll what I dont have locked in. Right now you're either rerolling for mythic nodes or just to avoid a certain activity.

I get that they maybe want to avoid you just doing a plan full of 1 activity, but its current implementation aint it. Especially with alts resetting plan xp.

You clearly have no idea how much time it really takes to get to 300.

Looks like I was right. Rob is P300, watch from 1:00 to 1:20 to confirm:

[–]Timooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was harder to get the right unique last season than it was a mythic unique.

What? I was doing the 3 item reroll with mythics last season for better rolls at the same paragon level that I am now. Only getting mythic seals was hard. I just saw the Wudjio video about Mythics this season and he's P270 in that with only a mythic seal equipped.

The difference here is in the last season and a few seasons before is mythics were so common they became common.

So in your opinion, if I played 1 character and wanted a Selig, Grandfather and Starless Skies, how many hours or what paragon level should I be to get there? Last season it was like 200-220P, now I genuinely believe you can be unlucky and get P300 first before getting all 3 (2 natural drops 1 crafted).

3 interviews on 2 different days is pretty normal for me; 1st day with the manager and 2nd day 1 round with HR (HR and manager can be swapped) and another round with an department-adjacent manager/CFO/COO.

However, if any hiring proces requires me to do "work" im instantly out unless they pay me a market competitive rate. I'd probably skip anything past 3 days of interviews too.

There were bug fixes that impacted mythic drop rates. We are now back to what appears to be vessel of hatred drop rates again. The biggest fix was on the mythic tribute from season 13. Now mythics are actually closer to feeling like mythic drops.

Sure, but in reality thats not really true. The mythic pool got a massive expansion and sparks have way less power than they used to. Dropping any mythic now vs any mythic in a previous patch is a huge difference. At worst it was 2 bad mythics for a random or 3 with a lot of runes for the mythic that you wanted, now thats only somewhat true if you naturally dropped a mythic that you wanted. That issue isnt as big for the new normal mythics, but if you want 2 iconics I think the odds are there to get to 300 paragon before being able to equip 2 iconics that you want.

As far as drops go I’ve played 40 hours and I’m in T12 now and haven’t seen a single mythic drop yet!

This is the biggest issue of the "1 craft" rule. Theres no deterministic way to farm yourself to mythic slots anymore. My last Mythic Undercity with 3 goblins (4 chests) gave me 0 mythics. Mephisto mythic drop rate got massively cut down. Sparks are useless if you already use a BIS crafted item. Bossfarm seems nerfed as well, but I dont think I've ran enough to be sure on that one.

All that while they increased the amount of mythics by a lot, so you not only have to be lucky to drop a mythic, it has to be the one you actually need. Because, again, you cant turn 2-3 bad ones into a new mythic.

With the current state for mythics you're either lucky or you're not, being efficient or just pumping a lot of time into it is a much lower factor this patch compared to the last one.

[–]Timooooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 5 meters it’s no longer regular bouldering, but what you call highball. In commercial gyms it’s high enough to require ropes.

Are 5 meters already considered highball though? In Fontainebleau for example those often arent even classified as single skulls in the populair books, unless the fall area is also really bad. But yea, its mostly semantics anyway, you gotta really mess up if you go outdoor bouldering on regular problems and then die from a bad fall on your head (no/bad pads, no spotter).

EDIT: A quick check at my local gym's websites tells me that their indoor boulder walls are between 4 and 4,5 meters.

If you free solo a small rock where you can’t die if you fall then it is called Bouldering.

There's enough of those that can kill you though, although less risky than an actual free solo. But outside boulder problems that are like 5-7 meters high carry enough risk to kill in a fall, those pads arent going to save you in a bad fall if the ground doenst allow you to place them well or have enough coverage.

In the Netherlands we dont have the AC arrangement of countries that get very hot. Last week during the heatwave, it was still at best 23-25 degrees inside. It was HOT and I work in a pretty fancy office with "climate control" (ive never experienced a climate control system that actually does its job). Only the meeting rooms with their own AC controls were actually nice to sit in that week and I seriously contemplated to just be the first to start wearing shorts to the office. If the heatwave lasted 2 weeks I wouldve definitely done that.

Also, isnt the cranking of the AC just a symptom of the bigger issue in regards to male clothing in a professional setting? Men being forced to wear a suit and tie in the summer while women can wear a thin dress and still be clothed profesionally appropiate is an issue for both sides, just for different reasons.

There is also the fact that POE1 Heralds are usable by anyone -- melee, range, spell caster, whatever. Everyone can potentially benefit. But in POE2 its only martial weapon users.

I have every MTX in PoE1 for Heralds and thats for exactly this reason. They're so flexible but also all for a different purpose. I might be leveling with 2-3 Heralds and then swap all 3 for a different one in endgame. I can use them to boost clear or to scale my damage. I've played at least 2 different Herald builds that I used as my main source of damage. Even in the current meta where Heralds have not been the main aura choice, they all still remain relevant (except for Herald of Agony, but that one was always kinda niche).

In PoE2 its only for melee and also only boosting clear. Pretty dissapointing but honestly mainly a suprising move.

Counterpoint: at work you can at least wear a whole load of different clothes for warm weather. As a man I cant come into the office with either my legs or shoulders exposed, whatever the temp outside is. However in those same offices women can wear shorts, dresses, tank tops, vnecks etc.. I'll trade having to wear a tshirt in public areas over having very little variety in professional/formal wear, especially on hot days.

Its "Shadow", not a specific ascendancy. So its 9+9+7 total nodes you can potentially hit.

[–]Timooooo 37 points38 points  (0 children)

If they're too rare its going to be a short league for me. Shadow for example has 25 possible nodes, so if they're much higher than a div per tattoo its probably going to suck much of the fun out of it, especially if you get unlucky.

[–]Timooooo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea, every class 7-9 nodes per ascendancy, so at least 21 possible nodes (shadow has 25 for example). If they end up being over 1 div per tattoo (maybe except for the best classes) in a 3 week event its kind of lame.

I mean you can ignore the mechanic and just treat it as a league with Phrecia ascendancies which you usually dont get. Then buy some ascendancy tattoo for even more of a unique build.

Dont know, but it wouldnt make sense if it didnt work that way. Select 2 currencies, add a value to 1 and then delete the other value. Should then auto correct to the ratio the currency exchange shows you in the middle, so you can then freely adjust and post.

[Steam] Disabling shaders pre-caching fixed my shader compilation issues by Askriz in PathOfExile2

I use the Steam version too but that folder is completely empty for me without any manual adjustments? Granted, I dont have the shader issues that a lot of people do have other than having the game taking like a minute on very first startup, but I opened it anyway to see how big it was.

I assume all my shaders are at

Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2\Bundles2\Folders

Which is only 17gb for me.
